House and surroundingsCasa do Ermal is situated on the outskirts of the hamlet of Rio Longo, close to one of the arms of the reservoir of Ermal. This recently built house is fitted with all modern conveniences, and the contemporay architecture, light and airy, makes it a very pleasant spot to spend your holiday.Along the shores of the lake are beaches and lovely places to swim, and there is a facility for cable waterskiing called Tele-Ski. The nearest waterfront is only a few hundred of metres from the property. The surrounding area is also conveniently situated for walking and (mountain) biking. The distance to the small town of Vieira do Minho is 6 km. There you will find all kinds of shops, 2 supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, banks and other services, and a large weekly market. The lake Caniçada at the foothills of the impressive national park Peneda-Gerês has more possibilities for watersports. You can rent canoes, jet ski's, pedaloes and motor boats, and you can also (learn to) waterski. The distance to the centre of Braga is ± 37 km. |
