Rebuilt farmhouse with beautiful views

Casa Tadeu is set in a hamlet not far from Anjos, in the very heart of the Serra da Cabreira. The villa is newly built on the foundations of a farmhouse. The granite of the outer walls, that were put up in the traditional way, is in fine contrast with the light and spacious interior. The large windows at the front offer uninterrupted views. Next to the house is a large patio, a small garden, the swimming pool and a covered dining area, all nicely laid out for enjoying the country air. Because of the elevated position of the villa this part offers privacy and stunning, panoramic views over the hills and the valley of the Rio Ave, which rises in the Cabreira mountains. Casa Tadeu is a fine starting point for exploring the Serra da Cabreira. From the villa you walk directly into the hills and mountains. Along the wide dirt roads a large part can also be discovered by car or mountain bike. The town of Vieira do Minho (all facilities) is about 10 km away. At walking distance – just a couple of hundreds of meters – there is a café, a shop for daily necessities and bread, a butcher and a simple restaurant. Closeby is the reservoir of Ermal, where you will find beaches and nice places to swim. There is also a facility for waterskiing (“Tele-Ski”). More possibilities for watersports are to be found at the large reservoir of Caniçada, North of Vieira do Minho. There are canoes, pedal boats and motor boats for rent and you can also (learn to) waterski. |
